Popping the Food Bubble Nutrition Program Feedback
1. Did you have identified problems upon entering the Program?
I was very bloated and puffy, everything healthy was setting off my body, and I wasn’t losing any weight. I was very frustrated which added to the stress on my bod. I was doing everything I was supposed to ie: cutting out sugar, eating lots of green vegetables, eating nuts, drinking almond milk, cutting out dairy, eating quinoa and brown rice, but I was getting nowhere. I felt terrible, I was obsessed over food, it felt like a constant battle……..I would never want to eat anything outside of the above foods and if I did I would go and try and train it off. When I started the program I was training 5 days a week, lots of high intensity classes and cardio.
2. Have these problems being resolved since starting the program?
Kitty said I should cut back my training to weights only and cut back the frequency. I have a great trainer Alesha Pimm who put together a three day strength based training plan. I now only train three days a week. Since then I have finally lost body fat, my muscles are showing and I am so much less puffy. My digestion has improved, I can now eat diary and potatoes and I get to have sugar and OJ every day!
The biggest thing is sugar! I drink coffee milk daily! I now focus on foods that nourish and heal my body. I now know what agrees and doesn’t agree with my body and what to change when things go wrong. I now have a much better relationship with food, I am no longer obsesses compulsive, I choose food based on what will nourish my body. I no longer have cravings! Over the last 12 weeks my energy levels have been really table and good, don’t feel tired during the day or feel like I need a nap. On the weekends I used to have afternoon naps I don’t do that anymore.
3. What were you eating prior to starting the program?
Lean meat, green vegetables, salads, nuts, almond milk, brown rice, chia seeds, oats, protein powder. Pre-workouts
4. What are you eating now?
Milk, sugar, potatoes, eggs, seafood, fruit, cheese, NuGel Gelatin, organic dark chocolate
5. How long did you spend in calendar time on the Program?
6. Was the information presented understandable and credible?
It was good, I had to re-read things a few times to get my head around the information. As time went on and I could see the results and how I was feeling it made more sense.
7. Was your coach for the Program helpful? What grade would you give him/her? (A – F)
B, Initially I felt it was very fast and a lot of information. I think it would have been better if I was given less information at the start. Towards the end it slowed down and I got my head around everything. Message reply was very quick and I liked how Kitty sent an email summary of what was discussed at the session and what actions needed to be taken. Kitty’s knowledge was excellent.
8. Is it easy to procure the foods you need and prepare them for the Program you are now using?
Yes it was very easy, the food is available everywhere, most things were cheap. I didn’t really get on board with the liver. I am eating way more prawns and seafood than I did before.
9. Have you seen an increase in resting temperature and pulse while on the program?
In the beginning I was taking temps and pulses – my temps and pulses were never that low but over the last few weeks I have felt much warmer, I don’t feel cold anymore.
10. Summarise your experience with the program.
I guess it really helped me to love my body and myself, it improved my relationship with food. It helped me to get out of that negative mindset of being strict, eating bad foods and trying to exercise it of. Now I love eating, I feel content, I don’t feel like I am missing anything and my body is getting everything it needs.
After only two weeks into the pogrom I was feeling belter, I even got my parents on board they cant believe what they are eating. Initially they were very sceptical but now they feel better eating this way. Mum went to Europe and since returning has lost 4kgs and does no exercise. Mum says she can’t imagine eating any other way now.
11. Would you recommend the Program to others?
