Popping the Food Bubble Nutrition Program Feedback
1. Did you have identified problems upon entering the Program?
Fiona – Nothing else was working, really struggling to eat food, yo-yoing up and down, I was waking up 1-2 times during the night, and my energy was low.
Cherie – I had issues with sleep, I would wake up ever night at least 2 times and I just thought it was normal. I was not achieving my physical goals and I knew it was to do with not eating a diet that was consistent; I couldn’t stick to the diet I was on. I was eating about 1200 calories, I was always tired, I would get to the end of the school day and I would be exhausted.
2. Have these problems being resolved since starting the program?
Fiona – I am now sleeping through the night, overall I feel better, now when I eat the wrong thing like take-away and processed food I can feel how it affects my body and my digestion, my head is in a better space now with food.
Cherie – I am now eating 2650 calories, I haven’t weighed myself but my clothes are starting to getting loser. I am finally sleeping through the night and I am hitting my physical goals, I squatted 105kgs this week. My training is so much better and I have the energy for training now. My general energy is so much better. I am awake and present. I understand what I need to eat for my body and I really enjoy the food I am eating.
3. What were you eating prior to starting the program?
Fiona – Shit, 2L of Pepsi a day cheese cake sausage roles, I just couldn’t be consistent
Cherie – lean meats, green vegetables, lots of protein, protein, noodles, oat’s – I would ruin it by eating cake, biscuits chips, I couldn’t stick to it I craved sugar and salt all the time.
4. What are you eating now?
Fruit, milk, potatoes, butter, eggs, OJ, ice-cream, sour dough, yoghurt, lean meats, seafood, white sugar, NuGel, oysters, white rice, root vegetables.
5. How long did you spend in calendar time on the Program?
6. Was the information presented understandable and credible?
Yes it was easy to understand and I could read it again on my own and sort it out in my brain, being told something but being able to re-read it and digest
7. Was your coach for the Program helpful? What grade would you give him/her? (A – F)
An A+ you have always come back and answered things in a timely manner with facts and reasons why we are dong what we are doing. You always answered promptly and the information makes sense, you know it, you breath it and you live it and that made it more concrete.
8. Is it easy to procure the foods you need and prepare them for the Program you are now using?
Oh god yes, fare easier than before.
9. Have you seen an increase in resting temperature and pulse while on the program?
Fiona – no not yet
Cherie – it was 35.6 on waking now its 36.4 and rises to 37 in the afternoon
10. Summarise your experience with the program.
Fiona – of all the diets I have tried its been the easiest to stick to and I actually love the food I am eating and I not forcing food down my throat, I am feeling so much better for it. It removed the word diet, Kitty didn’t tell us what to eat, we have learned to listen to our body and eat what it actually needs rather than someone telling us what to eat.
Cherie – I feel like I am able to continue with this way of eating without any guilt of bad food as I am not tempted by the bad food anymore, I don’t have cravings, I look at stuff in the bakery now and I don’t want it. If I crave sugar I now eat fruit, I am now listening to my body and understanding it. When I first came to you I wanted a diet that would fix me as that was my experience. I would go to someone and they would give me a plan to follow. Now I have discovered I am in control of the foods I eat and if I eat something bad I just do it and move on. I don’t even really want the bad processed food anymore. What was great about this program is that I decided what I ate, Kitty didn’t tell me. Most people do diets and lose weight and love it as people tell them how good they look but they feel like crap. I have lost weight and I actually feel good and have so much more energy.
